Sunshine Fire Protection

The fundamental role of the Sunshine Fire Protection District is to be prepared to defend ourselves from fire disasters and to support other public safety requirements.  This includes acquiring fire protection and EMT equipment and then training and coordinating volunteers to operate that equipment safely in emergency situations.

Fire Protection also means finding ways to limit our fire risks in the first place. Programs like  the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, (CWPP), coordinate our efforts with other districts to reduce wildfire risk across the county.
