The SFPD Fire Fighting Team

We are a dedicated team of volunteer and paid wildland firefighters protecting the residents and properties of Sunshine, CO.

We currently have nearly 30 trained firefighters and medical responders, and we are always looking for new qualified members to join our team.  We provide the necessary training and equipment.  Trained members can become eligible to work as paid firefighters for deployments to regional and national fire emergencies. We also have volunteer roles that support our firefighters and department.
